14.7 million years ago, a star fell from the sky and hastily bit into the earth, melting rocks and scattering debris.

The body of the earth began to cry, and the tears, freezing and mixing with the star, turned into green glass.

It took 15 million years. People learned to walk, build and dig, and from 1787 AD they got to the bottom of the green, bottle-like glass next to the Moldau River in the Czech Republic (that’s why they later called it Moldavite, the country of Moldova had nothing to do with it).

Since there were no volcanoes nearby, the version of the strange obsidian was shaken off immediately, deciding that it was just fragments left in the ground after prehistoric glass melting.

But later, moldavite began to be found in places remote from ancient civilizations, and soon a new, at the moment the most plausible version of the origin of the mineral was born – it is not from the Earth.

Medicinal properties

Lithotherapists openly say that moldavite has a beneficial effect on the nervous system. It can help with insomnia or nightmares, relieve the effects of severe stress, and normalize your sleep cycle.

The rich green stones of moldavite are sometimes used to stabilize blood pressure or relieve headaches, but it is not advised to abuse treatment with it: they say, bile will begin to accumulate.

Traditional medicine advises wearing it to get rid of fears, and healers prefer to use it in ointments, tinctures, as well as acupuncture.

Moldavite is associated with the parietal and sacral chakras, but they say it has a beneficial effect on everything.

Magical properties

What properties can a rare green stone from space have in the eyes of people?

Of course, by the mysterious forces of eternal emptiness: they believe that moldavite is the stone of prophecy, wearing it increases intelligence and develops abilities, if any.

With its help it is good to meditate, it also helps to open the “third” eye.

Astrologers love Moldavite dearly because he has no preferences for the signs of the zodiac, and he will be friends with everyone.

In Romania and the Czech Republic, they used to believe that moldavite brings happiness to family life, so once upon a time they gave jewelry to brides with this stone for a wedding.

In the last century, some esotericists have put forward the theory that the Holy Grail is actually Moldavite.

There are many theories of the Grail.

In some legends, the Grail is a chalice that Christ used at the Last Supper, although others believe that the Grail is not a chalice, but a stone, an “emerald” that fell from the crown of Lucifer when he fought with God, and which the angels observed neutrality, brought to Earth.

In ancient times, all green stones were called emeralds, and moldavite is still the only stone that fell from heaven.

Moldavite is also associated with the Phoenix, consumed by fire and rising from the ashes, a symbol of transformation and spiritual renewal, and some alchemists believed that it is a philosopher’s stone, because of its ability to transform, its history and belief that it is able to prolong youth life as such.

If we talk about gods, then most often Moldavite belongs to the stones of Persephone and the mother of Gaia, the Greek goddesses of spring, earth and fertility.

In Feng Shui, moldavite uses wood energy, the energy of growth, development, new beginnings, support and health. It increases resilience, brings abundance and helps with physical growth.

Green stones should be used anywhere you dine, as well as in a child’s room. It will also be useful in the workplace where you start a new project.

This stone is rather fragile, therefore, remember that vlatvit cannot be cleaned in salt – you will scratch its surface.
